Gay.com: TheEagle Aug 7, 2005 re:Chicago Rodeo, Failure to investigate all the options on "my part" lead us to fly in to O'Hare at which the Host Hotel will not pick up from, only Midway airport will they pick up from.I didn't realise how far away the Hotel is from the bar district and the rodeo grounds. I have heard of no shuttle schedule from the Hotel or the Bar district as of yet. Anyone know of any???? Looks like from mapquest that its about 40 minute drive to the rodeo grounds and a 40 minute drive to the bar district this being from the DouubleTree host hotel in alslip. I would prefer not to rent a car there and spend all our time getting lost trying to find these places when we could be spending our time enjoying the activities. LOL! I guess what I am asking is if there is anyone else who is going to be staying at the host hotel that weekend and knows the area fairly well without ALL of us getting lost and make matters even worse give me a shout via e-mail. We would be more than happy to share expenses with the car rental and gas. There will be 3 of us.We can get to the Hotel ok but it's the rest of the time there we were asking for anyone who would be most generous as to help 3 Idaho Spuds out. LOL! I just came back from a camp draft at Willawarrin (6hrs drive nth from Sydney) I had a great time, but I would have had an even better time if there were a few more gay men. I have only been to one gay rodeo in my life, in Calgary, and other scheduling has made it impossible for me to attend others. I was raised on a farm/ranch, and I really got turned on by all the rugged cowboys that worked for us. Your photos of the hot men who attend the rodeos and who cowboy in them brought back all sorts of wonderful memories of my youth. I'm 48, and it would be great to meet such an hunky real cowboy (seems they never are found here, nor do they answer any ads in gay sites in Canada). Any rate, super great site, you do a marvelous job of keeping it going and the photos are simply wonderful. I hope this site lasts a long while to come.
