I met Wild Wild Wes 7 yrs ago and the rest is history. Ive now been going to rodeos for just as long and compete in calf-roping on foot, camp and am beginning on some horse events. During that time, weve built a ranch in Sacramento and now are proud parents of 2 horses, 2 steer, 2 dogs, 8 chicken, and 5 goldfish (in the stock tank). Its a wonder we can ever get away to rodeo! Now Im President of Sacramento's Capital Crossroads Gay Rodeo Assn. which is seeking independent membership with IGRA this year. Politics aside, weve got a lot of spirit and enthusiasm and just like to have a good time competing with friends. Working the chutes is also a favorite pastime at the rodeo. I also like working up a sweat on the dance floor (two-step or line). I love rodeo and the great people we meet. It doesn't hurt that cowboys are hot and fun to play with.
