Question: Why is the photo I uploaded not showing up?

Answer: This could be one of two possibilities.

1. Believe it or not, there are some bad folks who are out on the internet and would upload some images that are NOT appropriate. It is for that reason alone that we MUST approve all the images uploaded to HomoRodeo.com. This process can take a few moments or up to 24 hours. Sorry for the inconvenience but it's standard practice for profile sites.

2. That you have accidentally deleted the photo area on your profile template. NO WORRIES! This happens from time to time when folks are working on learning their way around HomoRodeo.com. If that ever happens you can fix it very easily by following these simple instructions:

1. Log on to your HomoRodeo.com profile.
2 Click on the "my profile" tab.
3. In the right column under your photo look for Settings.
4. Click on the link that says "FIX PROFILE"
5. Tah Dah! ALL FIXED! (You might want to check out the Advanced Template info below.)

Question: How do I change my template? My photos are too big and only part of the photo is showing up on my profile?

Answer: One of the many reasons I chose this type of Profile system is the ability for YOU the user to customize your own profile area:
1. Click on "My Profile" tab
2. Look on right under SETTINGS: click "Advanced Template"
3. Look for "My Details" icon click and drag to X5 square
4. Look for "My blog status" icon click and drag to X1 square
5. Look for "My forum status" icon click and drag to X1 square ("My blog status" should already be there)
6. Look for "Comments" icon click and drag to X4 square
7. Look for "My tags" icon click and drag to X4 square ("Comments" should already be there)
8. Look for "Friend List" icon click and drag to X6 square
9. Look for "My Video" icon click and drag to X2 square
10. Look for "My Details" icon click and drag to X5 square
11. Look for "My Photos" icon click and drag to X3 square.
ALL DONE!

Question: How do I change my THUMBNAIL face picture in the profile area?

Answer: I know that there are times you'd like to UPDATE your default HomoRodeo.com profiles face picture so here are the instructions: (IMPORATANT NOTE: Your THUMBNAIL should always be a CLEAR face picture.)
1. Click on "My Profile" tab.
2. Click on current default face picture in right column.
3. Select the photo you wish to have as your THUMBNAIL face picture from list of photos currently uploaded to your profile by clicking on it.
4. Click [make thumbnail] above photo you wish to become your THUMBNAIL face picture.

Question: How do I change my default picture in the profile area? (The first large photo people see when opening your profile.)

Answer: This one is very simple... the very first photo you have (or only photo you have) will be the one that is your "default" large photo that people will see when they first click on your profile:
1. Click on "My Profile" tab.
2. Click on current default face picture in right column.
3. Select the first photo in your list of icons. Notice this is your default LARGE picture.
4. If you wish to change this simply upload the photo you want to be your default LARGE picture.

Question: How do I delete a picture from my profile?

Answer: Here are your instructions for deleting a photo on your HomoRodeo.com profile...
1. Log on to your HomoRodeo.com profile.
2. Click on the photo in the right column under your login name. (Look for the “Ask me for a photo” image if you have not uploaded a photo yet.) Alternatively you can click on the link “Photo” in the right column under your login name after you first log in to your profile.
3. Click on the photo you wish to delete.
4. The full size version of the photo will appear above... look above the the full size photo and click the [delete] link.

Question: How do I Delete my profile on HomoRodeo.com?

Answer: We totally understand there are times that folks wish to do so...
1. Log on to your HomoRodeo.com profile.
2. Click "My Profile" tab
3. Click "Edit profile" link on right
4. Scroll to the bottom click "Profile Unregister"
5. Click the "UNREGISTER" button.

Question: How do I add a Photo to my profile on HomoRodeo.com?

Answer: Here are your instructions for adding a photo to your HomoRodeo.com profile...
1. Log on to your HomoRodeo.com profile.
2. Click on the photo in the right column under your login name. (Look for the “Ask me for a photo” image if you have not uploaded a photo yet.) Alternatively you can click on the link “Photo” in the right column under your login name after you first log in to your profile.
3. Click on one of the “No Photo” thumbnails.
4. Click the “Browse” button and browse to a current CLEAR (no sunglasses) face photograph of yourself on your computer.
5. Double click on the image you wish to use and it will bring it up to your HomoRodeo.com profile.
6. If this is the face picture you want to display as your DEFAUL face picture you can now click on the [make thumbnail] link.
7. Repeat for each of the “No Photo” thumbnails if you’d like to add more photos. (Limit 40) !

Question: How do I create/modify my Headline?

Answer: Headlines are a great way to get share a headline about yourself! Make a statement, share some wisdom or just say HOWDY!
1. Sign on to your HomoRodeo.com profile.
2. Click "My Profile" tab.
3. Click "Edit Profile" in the right area located under your photo icon.
4. Enter your headline information in the area "Your headline"
5. Scroll to the bottom and click "SAVE" button.

Question: How does "Tag" work?

Answer: Tags (Folksonomy) are keywords that are chosen by you and/or another member to describe you or your profile. Click the "Tags" link at the bottom if any page to see examples. The larger the KEYWORD tag the more often it is used and the greater number of hits/members associated with it.

"Tag" a member's profile with a key WORD - simply click on the member's profile and type in your WORD into the area "Members tag this profile as" and click the tag button. To remove a specific key WORD, click the "X" next to the KEY word you added.

"Tag" your profile with a key WORD - This help folks find your profile simply click on "my profile" tab and enter key WORDS into the "You tag member as" and click the "TAG" button. To remove a specific key WORD, click the "X" next to the KEY word you added.

Question: How does the My Matches work?

Answer: When you click on "My Profile" you get to "EDIT PROFILE" on the right. Once you have successfully entered the "Edit Profile" area you will see three options under the "Edit My Profile" heading:

If you have NOT filled in anything under "My Matches" you will not get any matches. If you DO fill in something under the "My Matches" you will automatically be shown a list of matches based on the options you have selected when you filled out the "My Matches" section. You are able to change and modify this section at ANYTIME to fine tune what you are looking for in a mate/friend/companion/etc...

Question: How much does it cost to put me on your site?

Answer: Nothing... it's 100% FREE while we work out all the BUGS and ISSUES of the new profile area. OH AND VERY IMPORTANT, you can claim a 90 day TRAIL membership (after you join click on the SUBSCRIBE tab) it will give you more abilities. ;-) ENJOY!

Question: Do I need to pay to attend the HomoRodeo.com party?

Answer: Absolutely not! It's 100% FREE!

Question: Will you have a HomoRodeo.com party at our rodeo?

Answer: We try to host a party at every rodeo. However, since this site is 100% voluntary and no one gets paid to organize these functions, it's expensive to go to ALL the rodeos and host the HomoRodeo.com parties. So, If I'm headed to a rodeo (in other words I'm "LISTED" then there is a good chance that there WILL be a HomoRodeo.com party.

Question: What happens at the HomoRodeo.com party... I mean.. what is a HomoRodeo.com party?

Answer: A HomoRodeo.com party is basically a mixer for folks who are going to the rodeo to meet others who are in town for the rodeo. ALL HomoRodeo.com parties are held on Friday night of rodeo weekends in the city that is hosting the rodeo. For instance, in 2007 we had our HomoRodeo.com party at a bar called The Wrangler in Denver. The Wrangler donated free food and beer to all those who wore their HomoRodeo.com T-shirt or name tag. The name tags are generated from the folks who "LISTED" for the 2007 Denver Rodeo. (Click here to see the "LISTED" folks.) It's a great way to meet folks before the rodeo. A lot of people who "chat" online would never know that they are sitting next to someone they've seen in the chat rooms if it wasn't for HomoRodeo.com. The HomoRodeo.com parties provide a mechanism for folks to go out and see their long time friends or to make new ones! (Click here to see pictures from the Denver HomoRodeo.com Friday night party!)

Question: What do I need to "List" for the rodeo(s?)

Answer: Simply let us know by clicking on CONTACT at the top/bottom of any page and fill in the information about your online profile. Be sure and select "Rodeos I'm going to..." and tell us WHICH rodeo(s) you plan to attend!

Question: How do I "List" for the rodeo(s?)

Answer: You can click on CONTACT at the top/bottom of any page and fill in the required information. You will NEED an online profile to be able to be listed. You can obtain a FREE one from any of the following: (Yahoo.com, BigMuscle.com, BigMuscleBear.com, Bear411.com, AOL.com, Gay.com, Manhunt.com, Bear411.com, TexasMale.com)

Question: How do I submit a picture to "list" for the rodeo(s?)

Answer: We use your photo from your online profile(s.) It's just a matter of time that HomoRodeo.com will have a new function that will allow you to create an online profile here! YAHOO! In the mean time should you still need to submit a picture you can send it to Harley at HomoRodeo.com.

Question: Where are the pictures from the rodeos?

Answer: All rodeo pictures are kept under our "Galleries" link located at the top of every page.

Question: Hey, I have pictures from a rodeo that I'd like for you to post... how do I get them to you?

Answer: You may send any of your pictures from previous rodeos to Harley at HomoRodeo.com or simply click the CONTACT link at the top/bottom of any page and select the "I have Pics to send you Harley!" option.

Question: Hey, I have an idea! How do I share my thoughts on improving HomoRodeo.com?

Answer: We love your feedback! YEEHAW! We've improved HomoRodeo.com a great deal based on your comments and suggestions. If you have an idea or suggestion to improve our site. Simply click on CONTACT at the top/bottom of any page and fill in the information and select "Comments and Suggestions" from the drop down form. Know that we do this as a voluntary basis and would LOVE to implement ALL your great ideas, but only have so much time after work and before bed to work on them... so be patient with us.
