Grew up on a farm. Like the rural life but also tolerant of some urban settings. Like sunsets, comfortable boots, and the site of nice fitting Wranglers.

I am a school teacher looking to hang out with masculine guys. I like to travel and am looking forward to attending a rodeo. I have been to regular rodeos but want to go to a gay one.

Looking like 2017 will have some exciting trips to rodeos across the country. Hope to meet some new friends along the way! Planning on hitting each and every one of them this time around and hoping to make some new friends along the way. Hit me up for a beer or two while on the circuit!

Big sports fan myself, so always down to go to a game, or watch one at the bar!

I work hard and play even harder. Cowboy/Farmer, have a small place on a mountain. I love being nude and hidden by the pine trees. I still attend and complete in gay rodeos. I just do camp events, would like to do chute dogging again. I want to get back into two stepping and square dancing with a man.

I seldom like talking about myself. However, this is a required element, a 'partnered' profile not a 'single' one, and I very much enjoy reading others thoughts about themselves, so hopefully you will enjoy this "Reader's Digest - Condensed Version" of our story...

I 'came out' in San Antonio, TX, NOV '06, after 26 yrs of marriage, four grown children and finding myself totally alone for the first time in my life. During that significant transition, I discovered the gay rodeo arena, attending my first rodeo in Dallas - MAR '07 and became forever hooked. I followed that up with the AlbQ - AUG '07, where I met my very kind & handsome life partner and his sweet companion, Dixie (our Australian Shepherd, Blue Healer, Sneaky Neighbor Dog Mix which we affectionately call 'Doodles').

After residing in several cities in New Mexico, a short stint in Chicago, and moments of unemployment, we find ourselves in the Texas Hill Country enjoying the simple life; just outside the quaint village of Wimberley, in our first home together on 2.4 acres, with new friends, our extended family (which now includes seven grandchildren & one in the oven) and continuing to attend rodeos, as often as time & $$ permit. We are not cowboys, but enjoy the Western/Southwestern cultures, and embrace the 'cowboy spirit', donning our Wrangler's and boots for some weekend two-steppin'.

We are both retired military. He USN and me USAF and USA, respectively. We almost have all branches covered between the two of us. ;-)
He was a Chief Petty Officer with a career spanning 21 years, serving as an Aide/Valet to several Admirals, their families, and a most prestigious stint serving The Secretary of the Navy - Dalton during the "W" Administration and 9/11. I took the early out, during the Clinton Administration's downsizing efforts of the military and serving as an Operating Room Technician in the Air Force, during peace-time ('79-87) and a Secure Communications Equipment Technician & Battalion Training NCO in the Army, during "Operation Just Cause"-Panama, Desert Shield & Storm ('87-'94).

We love our country and the many diverse people that make it soooo great! We, also, enjoy traveling, as often as we can, and hope to meet as many of you along the trail or at our next rodeo.

One of the most important lessons I have learned from my man/companion has now become my mantra:
"Life's Too Short, Embrace It!"
In closing, we encourage you to live, laugh, love, lose/lament, listen, and look for every moment to embrace life for as long as you have breath, and before you know it...
Life's embracing you!

Grew up in rural Oklahoma and hold strong to those values. I'm a hard worker, energetic, and grateful for the simple things in life. If someone considers me country, its not because of where I grew up or how many pairs of boots I own.

Live music outdoors. Big fan of Red Dirt. Spend most of my off time at the mountains and lake. Love cars and history. My favorite weather is thunderstorms or rain, soothes my soul.
Sense of humor is a major plus! Great personality and a positive attitude will get my attention. Loyalty, trust and compassion will keep it.

My heart may be gentle, but my will is strong.
